I'm just about halfway done with Paradigm Lost. It seems to be very slow going.

Bar Ha Ba

We spent the day in Bar Harbor with my in laws. They came in on this cruise ship

These are both EMS designs. The secretary bear is me and the sewing bear is my Mom. Sorry about the photo quality.

Crabmeat

Yesterday Megan called and said a truck carrying fresh crabs had stopped on the big hill beside her apartment and the boxes of crabs slid to the back of the truck and the door broke open. All the totes of crabs ended up in the road! Everyone from the surrounding houses was picking them up and keeping them. Since they were dying so quickly the driver had to give them away. He couldn't sell them. It was a total loss for him. I sure hope he had insurance. Josh went out and picked up a grocery bag and a half of them. Todd and I cooked them and picked them out and this is what we got.

My daughter got married in June. I made them several items to celebrate the wedding. This is EMS design I made into her bridal shower card.

I've lost that loving feeling

I've totally lost my stitching mojo. I hope it returns soon or I will be seriously behind in my project goals.

My New Toy

We went car shopping today. I would rather have gone to the dentist and had every tooth pulled without novicaine. Long, ugly story short, we did end up buying a 2008 Hyundai Elantra. It is my first automatic because standards are almost impossible to come by now. I guess I will get used to it eventually. As you can see it already needs a carwash. It is my first new car ever! I'm so excited. Isn't it purty?


The ugly house in the background is my neighbors....we share a driveway which is a total pain, but what can ya do? The cutie pie is my 7yo.
