Gone Stitchin'

This is what I was working on when I had my "episode".
I made it into a magnet for the refrigerator. Freebie here

I'm back

Sorry I have been MIA. I had a bit of a health scare and haven't felt like posting. I had some kind of episode on the 13th that sent me to the E.R. It was either an ocular migraine or a TIA. I had many tests over the last week or so including an MRI on Friday. They are pretty sure it was an ocular migraine but want to be positive. I was actually cross stitching at the time, so it's slowed me down a bit. I have got a few things accomplished though.

We had these 2 framed at AC Moore. I think they came out great!

Here are a couple of freebies. Edited to add links: Love's Joy Sampler here.

Plaid Sheep here.

I thought the sheep was cute. He is my first Altoid tin. Kimber always likes to see the sheep at the fair and thinks they are saying Kimmmmbbber so I thought it would be more personal this way.

On top of my health issues, my job may be in jeopardy too. They are elminating a bunch of positions and combining offices. I have never been "let go" from a job before, so I'm just a tad bit stressed!

I will keep you posted when I learn my test results and work future. Wish me luck!

Happy Dance!!!

I finally finished Long Dog Sampler's Paradigm Lost! I love it and I think I will be lost without it. I have been working on it for 9 months so it is truly my baby. I tried so hard to get it done in time to get it to AC Moore while they were having their framing sale. We took Scenic farm and the EMS SAL up yesterday but I still had 3 hours left on PL. Bummer. I guess I will have to wait for the next sale.

Last post of 20008

I have 2 resolutions for 2009. First is to lose weight. Second is to post more. Here are some pics from Christmas.
My husband laughed so hard when he opened the Scenic Farm still in the package with the extra floss. He thought he had to finish it and didnt bother taking it out of the package. I had to tell him to. He was so surprised it was finished!

Megan loved her Prairie Schooler Santa.

Kimber, Kyle and Josh playing Wii bowling.

Matt and Kimber. Please excuse my husband's feet.
